Engagement of Services
The Client engages Carlson Property Tax LLC to represent them in protesting property tax assessments. The services include filing protests, attending hearings, and negotiating with appraisal districts or tax assessors or authorities.
Fees and Payment
Fees are based on the agreed upon amount from the executed Representation Agreement signed between the two parties. The Client agrees to pay Carlson Property Tax LLC this agreed amount within 30 days of receiving the invoice. Interest will be applied and charged on unpaid balances.
Estimated Tax Savings
Estimated tax savings are calculated by subtracting the property's final market value from its proposed market value and multiplying by the prior year’s rate.
Cancellation Policy
Either party may cancel this agreement with written notice at least 30 days before the protest deadline. If the Client cancels after a protest has been filed, the Client agrees to pay a cancellation fee as stated in your executed Representation Agreement.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Carlson Property Tax LLC does not guarantee any specific outcome from the protest process. The Client acknowledges that results may vary based on numerous factors and Carlson Property Tax LLC reserves the right to withdraw the case at any time.
Confidentiality
Carlson Property Tax LLC will maintain the confidentiality of all Client information and will not disclose any details to third parties without the Client's consent, except as required by law.
Compliance with Regulations
Carlson Property Tax LLC is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Limitation of Liability
Carlson Property Tax LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the services provided. If the owner fails to provide requested information and documentation, client will have no claim against or be liable for damages.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in the courts of Dallas Texas.
Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
License and Material
Carlson Property Tax LLC owns the intellectual property rights for all material. All rights are reserved. You must not republish, distribute, sell, rent, reproduce, duplicate, copy any material of Carlson Property Tax LL C. This website is proprietary property and the website, designs, text, and photographs are owned by Carlson Property Tax LLC.
